Man fined after admitting drug possession
A HAVERFORDWEST man has been fined after admitting possession of a controlled drug.
Kyle Morgan, aged 26, of Portfield Gate, Haverfordwest, appeared before Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday (Jan 7).
The court heard that Morgan was charged with possessing a Class B controlled drug (cannabis) following an incident on December 3, 2025.
He pleaded guilty to the offence at the first opportunity.
Magistrates imposed a fine, and ordered Morgan to pay prosecution costs and a victim surcharge. No additional orders were made.
No reporting restrictions were in place.
A MILFORD HAVEN man has been fined after admitting breaching the terms of a community order.
Daniel Price, aged 31, of Priory Road, Milford Haven, appeared before Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday (Jan 7).
The court heard that Price failed to comply with the requirements of a community order, imposed following an earlier conviction. The breach related to his failure to attend a scheduled appointment, without reasonable excuse.
He pleaded guilty to the breach at the first opportunity.
Magistrates dealt with the matter by imposing a financial penalty, ordering Price to pay a fine, along with prosecution costs and a victim surcharge. The original community order was allowed to continue.
No reporting restrictions were imposed.
A HAVERFORDWEST woman has been fined after admitting an assault offence.
Rhiannon Young, aged 34, of Cartlett, Haverfordwest, appeared before Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday (Jan 7).
The court heard that Young was charged with assault by beating, relating to an incident on November 18, 2025.
She pleaded guilty to the offence at the first opportunity.
Magistrates imposed a financial penalty, ordering Young to pay a fine, along with prosecution costs and a victim surcharge. No separate orders were made.
A HAVERFORDWEST man has been remanded on unconditional bail after admitting one assault charge, with a second allegation dismissed by the court.
William Gough, aged 42, of Three Meadows, Haverfordwest, appeared before Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday (Jan 7).
The court heard that Gough faced two charges of assault by beating, both relating to an incident on April 19, 2025.
He pleaded guilty to one count, having previously changed his plea, while maintaining a not guilty plea to the second charge. Magistrates dismissed the remaining allegation following consideration of the evidence.
Following his conviction for the admitted offence, the court remanded Gough on unconditional bail while reports are prepared ahead of sentencing. He is due to return to court on a future date, which will be confirmed.
