Features Policy

Paid features

The business features on our website are paid for by the businesses and are no way independent endorsements by The Pembrokeshire Herald.

In the era of ‘fake news’ we will always label our paid features and advertorials clearly so our readers are aware they reading an advertising piece and not a news item.

In some instances, adverts for third-party businesses may appear on a feature, which have also been paid for to support the featured business and their feature.

Editorial guidelines

When putting together a feature for a business, we always have a member of our editorial team speak to a representative from the company.

This is to ensure that a high quality of work is provided for the business and our readers, but also so we can fact check anything we are told.

However, in some cases it is not always possible to fact check, and The Herald is not responsible for any inaccuracies in features with information supplied by the business.

Special offers and vouchers

Many businesses will offer a special offer or discount for Herald readers. The Herald has no control over these offers and T&Cs by the featured business will likely apply.

With any transaction as a result of a feature, you are dealing solely with the featured business and not the Herald.
