Police searching for Kevin Offland for breach of supervision order
DYFED-POWYS POLICE is appealing for public assistance in locating Kevin Offland, a 44-year-old resident of Castle Hall Drive, Blackbridge, Milford Haven.
Offland is wanted by authorities for breaching his post sentence supervision order. The police have released details regarding the case, urging anyone with information on Offland’s whereabouts to come forward.
Offland’s actions that led to his current legal predicament stem from a disturbing incident involving his wife. On 15th December last year, Offland headbutted a woman with such force that she fell backwards into a radiator, sustaining serious injuries. The assault took place in a bedroom, where the woman had confronted him about his drug use.
Initially scheduled to face trial for assault by beating on Wednesday, 1st February, Offland dramatically changed his plea at the eleventh hour and admitted to the charges against him.
The court was presented with photographic evidence of the victim’s extensively bruised face, taken by the police several days after the assault. In her victim personal statement, she described the impact the incident had on her physical and emotional well-being. She stated that she had experienced a loss of appetite, trouble sleeping, and an irrevocable breakdown of trust in Offland. She firmly expressed her refusal to re-enter a relationship with him.
In response to the severity of the offence, magistrates handed down a 14-week prison sentence, recognising that the assault was perpetrated against a vulnerable person and had resulted in serious injuries.
In addition to his custodial sentence, Offland was ordered to pay £620 in court costs, provide £850 in compensation to his victim, and contribute a £154 victim surcharge.
Heddlu Dyfed-Powys Police is now seeking the assistance of the public in locating Kevin Offland. He has connections to the Staffordshire, West Midlands, West Mercia Police, and London areas. Community gathers to remember Corrina Baker
Lanterns and balloons released in emotional acts of remembrance
FAMILY, friends and members of the local community came together to remember Corrina Baker at a series of moving events held across west Wales this week.
Corrina’s funeral took place on Monday (Dec 15), a month after her death, with a public service held at St Mary’s Church. Mourners lined the route as her coffin was carried on its final journey in an elegant horse-drawn carriage, before a private cremation later took place at Parc Gwyn crematorium in Narberth.

Later that evening, shortly after 6:00pm, friends and relatives gathered at the Quayside in Cardigan for the first of two acts of remembrance to celebrate her life. Lanterns were lit and released into the night sky above the town as some of Corrina’s favourite songs were played.

On Tuesday afternoon (Dec 16), a second tribute was held near the location where Corrina was found. Twenty-one pink balloons — one for each year of her life — were released into a clear blue sky, each carrying personal messages in her memory.
Floral tributes continue to be laid at the Netpool, while a GoFundMe appeal set up in Corrina’s memory has raised more than £2,300. She has been described by those who knew her as “funny and bright”.
Dyfed-Powys Police have confirmed that their investigation into the circumstances surrounding Ms Baker’s death is ongoing. A 29-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of murder has been released on bail while inquiries continue.
